Viña Mar

Viña Mar was born in 2002 as a result of the commitment of Southern Sun Wine Group of enhancing our brand portfolio of fine wines with denomination of origin. Located at Casablanca Valley, Chile, an emblematic place of the Chilean vitiviniculture, eighty kilometers west of Santiago and 18 kilometers from the Pacific Ocean, is oriented to produce complex and original wines, under a modern oenological approach.

Viña Mar yields a tribute to the sea with its name, from where the essentials attributes of it vineyards originate.

The winery is a state-of-the-art, modern winemaking facility, designed to fulfill the highest quality standards, with a total capacity of 2,5 million liters. Besides this winemaking facilities for fine wines, Viñamar have a production capacity for more than 300.000 champagne bottles per year, using modern or traditional Champ noise winemaking methods.

The commitment of Viña Mar with Casablanca Valley also is demonstrated by a tourist project associated to it facilities, including state house, guided visits, gift shop and a restaurant, giving a significant support to Casablanca Valley Wine Route.
