Tamarí

During 2003 was established in Mendoza, Argentina, a new branch of Southern Sun Wine Group, Tamarí.

This expansion is oriented to produce fine wines for export markets, taking advantage of the extraordinary qualities of this foothill terroir, specially for red wines and in particular for Malbec variety, emblematic of Argentine vitiviniculture.

The most remarkable characteristics of Mendoza´s foothill region are climate and altitude, that provide an adequate temperature difference between day and night, absence of rain in summer and lower grape insulation, extremely favorable conditions for the development of grape color and aromas.

Tamarí wines represents a superb expression of Mendoza´s terroir that capture the full potential of this winegrowing region.
